Central bank: Russia’s trend inflation slows down to 5.6% in Feb
MOSCOW, Mar 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s trend inflation decelerated to 5.6% in February from 5.61% in January thanks to stabilization of inflation pressure on the consumer market at a level slightly exceeding the inflation target, the central bank said in a report late Thursday.
The medium-term risks that annual inflation will exceed the 4% target of the central bank are still higher than the risk of it being lower.
